CIPD Quals – RAI: HR with Impact
November 1, 2019
This unit focuses on knowing the value of people data and its role as a type of evidence that can inform better business decision making and helping uncover how people add value in organisations.
Knowing what data is important, and how to use it to make decisions, is increasingly important; whether that’s to develop simple dashboards of key performance indicators or predict future performance, data is commonly used to inform change and challenge the way we think about people in organisations.
And only by measuring the impact of our work and the value organisations add, both for workers and society, can we really promote the importance of people professionals in organisations.
During the unit we will look at the information used for HR planning, recruitment and selection, performance and reward management.
It covers the legal implications of storing personnel data, how to record data and information and to interpret, analyse and present information clearly and accurately in an appropriate format in support of decision-making to meet organization-wide objectives.
Learning Objectives:
- understand what data needs to be collected to support HR practices
- know how HR data should be recorded, managed and stored
- be able to analyse HR information and present findings to inform decision-making.
RAI: HR with Impact is part of the CIPD Qualification in Human Resources and bears credits towards the completion of the qualification.
